My New Year’s Resolutions

Grades: Earn straight A's (-A don't count) in all your classes with the one exception being your dance class, in that you can earn an –A.

Finance: I don't want to eat out at all unless it is for a date. Cook at home more often.

Journal: Write in my journal daily. Weather it is on my laptop or in the actual bound journal I want to record something from every day.

Media Fast: This year I don't want to even watch television, this includes movies and video games (even online games or movies). The two exceptions to this will be if I'm going to be watching movie with a girl or family. The second is if I'm at a special event with a friend, such as a birthday party, and he wants me to play RockBand with him.

Exercise: Every weekday exercise a little (at least 10 minutes).

Books to Read: The New Testament.

My New Year Resolution

1. Go to bed before 3 am in the morning.
2. Sleep at least seven hours a day.
3. No soda - only milk and juice.

New Year’s Resolutions

Narendra, Ashray and I were talking before I took off for the brake and we suggested that we post our new year's resolutions. I was wondering if the custom of setting New Year's Resolutions is existent in Nepal. Weather we are all familiar with this tradition or not here is a definition of what a New Year's Resolutions entails and what some common examples are.

We were also thinking that once we all post our Resolutions we should have a reward for whoever can keep theirs the longest. This way we can watch and help each other keep our goals.

Now we just have to make our post and decide on what the reward will be for the winner.

Thanksgiving Movie marathon in Apartment #8

Anybody who have any of the following movies in their possession. Please see us so that we can watch it during our thanksgiving break.
At least 5 of us are planning to waste thanksgiving week by watching as many movies as possible. This is to explore the true American culture.

Suggestion for Gossip fast for 2 months

Hey roomies,

I have realized we've been doing too much of gossip these days. We don't get too much of studying done. Midterms up and we got to do a lot of studying. So, I suggest we should do the gossip fast till december (all the way till finals). Come on guys. We can do it.

Nepal Party Night Tomorrow

Ashray came up with the great idea of having a party tomorrow night and inviting some of the other apartment to it. We were thinking of starting it at 8. Everyone list all the ideas you have for it. We've already decided to have some food, although we may be a little fuzzy on what exactly.

Hey Everyone

Hey everyone

Join us buddies. we are here to start a new trend. A blog by not an individual or a company but by an apartment. Isn't that cool? Yup!!! So come on and join this blog. As already mentioned. We are six guys in this apartment. Let me give brief intro about them.

Ashray is the super cool guy of apt 8. Damn good guitarist and a very good human being. To date him is like having a good hearted guy beside you. So go for him girls... A very studious person majoring in electrical engineering... Good sense of humor and good looks add to his charm.

Kamal is a shy guy who might not open up in the first meeting...But with time you will realize he is a very good fren. Genius in physics. He loves what he is studying. Throw any question at him regarding physics and he will answer with ease. Probably next Einstein in the making(I guess that is way too much) but nevertheless a cute guy.

Mikkel a guy with great sense of humor. He is a great guy to be with. A very good human being and a very good fren. You will enjoy every bit of your moment shared withh him. He will definitely fill your heart with laughter. If you need a good fren just contact Mikkel.

Charles is a fun loving person. An economist major. Very good with numbers and finance. But more than that better with relationship and responsibilities. He is the guy to depend upon. A soft spoken person who is good with everyone and anyone. Seems like he is always happy for all of us. He is the guy whom you would like to take home to meet your parents.

Narendra is the coolest guy in apartment 8. He is introvert initially but once you get along with him he is like a house on fire. You will keep on laughing at his jokes and witty one liners. If the saying would be, "The best way to reach to a girl's heart is through her stomach, then he would have won many hearts with his tasty Nepalese food". A good fren who loves to talk to everyone without any biasness.

Last member of this apartment is Biplav. I don't have much to say about myself. I just love to be in this apartment. Above mentioned guys are really cool and I love every moment that I share with them.

Apartment 8 ROCKS and It's the best place to be. If you want to have fun, want to study math, physics, finance, economics...there is just one place for these all...ITS APARTMENT 8.

We realized that Matt is the only one who goes to girls apartment and hangs out with them. Out of us 6 roomies, is Matt the only one who needs a girl? Definately not. Well, Biplav is already married so, he got excuse. But what about us four? Kamal is not worried about. so we three are left. Every freaking night, we stay in living room trying to do homework. But, we always end up talking about girls and not even completing homeworks. Today, 16th oct,2008. we just decided to open this blog for us and to share and post our personal or public stuffs.
